This was something I had been itching to do, and I finally got the go-ahead from Adam. I hated that when friends or family came over, all I could offer was an air mattress (sorry to those who have endured the pain). I mean after all, we have 3 empty bedrooms just waiting to be decorated ;) Besides, after graduation I knew I had to keep myself busy and what better way than diving into a project?! Though sometimes it's a blessing, the perfectionist in me can also be a curse.. haha. I wish I had finished a little sooner, but alas, our guest room is complete! We had a simple budget of $1000 and stuck to it pretty firm. Ikea is a lifesaver in the area of inexpensive, yet decent quality furniture. I literally had the bed frame bought and put together (by myself!) all in the same day. I opted for a nautical theme because I wanted our guests to feel like they could escape to paradise while sleeping over in Hoschton (corny, I know.), and because I am obsessed with anything anchor or rustic. Anyway, I hope you will be our guest and enjoy the new room!

The theme of this post has me thinking about the new Beauty & the Beast trailer! I can't wait to go see it when it premieres! What are your latest projects? I hope this helps to inspire you to tackle that something you've been wanting to cross off your list! Happy Sunday folks!
