Mercier Orchards

I finally made it to Mercier Orchards! But, let's be honest, it was mostly for their apple cider donuts, DUH. We had so much fun celebrating our friends Jessica + Jamie as they tied the knot up in her hometown of Blue Ridge. The wedding was spectacular and really centered around their love for one another. Adam and I also got to see and spend so much time with our other friends who live in Savannah who we don't get to see very often. So, needless to say, it was a weekend of so much joy and catching up. 

On Sunday, we decided that before heading home we'd make a pit-stop at the famous Mercier Orchards where we got to pick our own peck of apples, and of course sample all the apple treats they had to offer. Here's a few photos to recap the day. 

Taste of Appalachia

Hello again! Sorry for being so MIA these past few months. I know, I know... I said I'd be back with some really great content, but trying to juggle a full-time job, part-time photography business and enjoying my most favorite season has gotten the most of me! I really love blogging and I don't want to add it to my list of 'to-dos' and make it feel like a job, so I'll be here every now and again updating you on some of life's journeys. 

Today's post is a recap of one of the first fall festivals of the year! The Taste of Appalachian Food and Wine festival was so fun. My mama, soon to be sis-in-law and I set out Saturday morning to sample a slew of local wineries and eateries around the Northern Georgia area. The best part was strolling about the Hardman Farm historical site where the event was held. That place is so beautiful nestled up in the Sautee valley, and the whole time I was thinking about how someone needs to get engaged so I can take their photos there! ;)

Anyway, enjoy the photos and hopefully you can down a glass (or two..) of wine for yourself.
