Five on Friday.

Can you sense a theme here? Give me all of the tortoiseshell! This is what I'm crushing on lately, and most of these would make great stocking stuffers! (Hint hint.. ;)) Tortoise is a classic, timeless material and how could you say no to all of these great pieces? So many different ways to incorporate a fun print into your daily routines. Don't fear animal lovers, these are all synthetic. What are your must-haves this Christmas season?

Merry + Bright.

Monday, December 12, 2016

Wishing you and yours the merriest of holiday seasons! So thankful for all of the many blessings that have come into my life over the past year. This time of the year for me is about cherishing those sweet moments spent with loved ones, eating WAY too many sugar cookies and hot chocolate, and of course making memories while celebrating our Savior's birth and the reason I get to live. I have been so fortunate to have been given this life and all of the wonderful (and honestly, sometimes not so wonderful) aspects of it, but I wouldn't trade a single day. This time of year is also about reflection and the anticipation of new beginnings. What accomplishments have you achieved over the past year? What are you most looking forward to as the new year approaches? I'd love to hear about your goals and aspirations! Here are a few of our Christmas photos from this year's shoot! Enjoy :)

"For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6

"Christmas is not a time or a season but a state of mind. To cherish peace and good will, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. If we think on these things, there will be born in us a Savior and over us will shine a star sending its gleam of hope to the world.”
-Calvin Coolidge

Holiday Home Tour.

Monday, December 5, 2016

Finally! The most wonderful time of the year is upon us, and I can now share what I've been enjoying well before the season even started (like even before Thanksgiving.. I know :)) I'm one of those. The decorations went up super early, but why put in all that work to only enjoy it for one month? Anyway, this weekend was perfect for cozying up to the fire, shopping for that perfect gift, and just staying indoors while the cold rain falls.  I've been wrapping presents most of the day and watching Christmas movies on Hallmark (yes I am that girl, too..) while basking in all of the scents of the holiday season with my new B&BW candles. [Scored those bad boys on major sale this weekend!] Ahh.. bliss. This must be what heaven is like around Jesus' birthday. It sure does feel right. Welcome to our holiday home, where everything has a touch of 'country'! Enjoy the tour :)

Sending off our Christmas cards tomorrow! Can't wait to receive them from our friends and family! It's one of my favorite parts of the season.

Christmas in the Mountains.

Sunday, December 4, 2016

Cleveland, Georgia: Gateway to the Mountains, a.k.a. my beautiful hometown. I love where I'm from and love how our small community comes together during the season of giving to show support and love for one another! There were so many good vendors and this year we were treated to live music. The free hot chocolate was a plus and kept our hands warm. This year was interesting in the fact that it began to rain, but low and behold the good people still came out to support our little town! Here are a few photos I ended up snapping despite the wet and rainy conditions. (It kind of made things look like a winter wonderland!) Enjoy!
